This will be followed by concerts in Glasgow, Manchester and Cambridge.

He places emphasis on collaboration and has worked closely with Oliver Coates and recently, for the Aldeburgh Festival, on Sound Rebound with sound designer, composer and performer David Sheppard. Sound Rebound involved designing and constructing new physical and digital instruments based on the physical characteristics of the instruments in the house of bedlam. This installation ran for two weeks and culminated in a new hour-long work in two environments with pre-composed material and improvisation performed by Larry Goves, David Sheppard and the house of bedlam.

His closest collaborator is the writer Matthew Welton. He has set a number of Matt’s poems in a variety of contexts including orchestral songs, multi-media works for the London Sinfonietta and chamber theatre works. Matt is also writes for and performs spoken word with the house of bedlam. They are currently recipients of a Jerwood-Aldeburgh Opera Writing Fellowship and are working on a piece inspired by the life and work of Frank O’Hara.
