Biography
Percussionist Sarah Cresswell is a solo, chamber and orchestral musician. Having grown up in Wales, she moved to London to study at the Royal Academy of Music before completing fellowships at both there and at the Royal College of Music. During this time Sarah was awarded a place on the Foyle's Future First Scheme with the London Philharmonic Orchestra; with whom she now performs as a freelance percussionist. Sarah's enthusiam for new and exciting repertoire has led to her being in demand both as a soloist and chamber musician. As a soloist she has performed at the Royal Albert Hall, Syndney Opera House, Conservetoire du Nord and Queen Elizabeth Hall and recorded for HTV, S4C, BBC Radio Wales and Classic FM. As a chamber musician Sarah performs regularly with the Ossian Ensemble and the London Contemporary Orchestra, for which she is the principal percussionist. Sarah is looking forward to performing new works in Europe, South Africa and the USA over the coming year.
